With 2 patents [in process] and 3 trademarks, ALONA is chiefly working in the field of Agriculture, Health, and Personal Wellness Sectors. Under the Agricultural Sector, ALONA is developing products to overcome the detrimental effects of chemical-based agrobusiness and further advocates a more sustainable Natural Indigenous Farming System with novel post-harvest solutions. Further, in the Health Sector, ALONA is working to identify new active ingredients derived from plants and other natural sources for the development of pharmaceuticals, medical foods and personal care products.
