Certificate Course on Industrial Drug Development from January 2025
3 months Certificate Course on Industrial Drug Development (basic) will be introduced from January 2025. Interested candidates can apply on either of the following two modules:
Modules
•Isolation of bioactive principles from medicinal plant parts and determination of antioxidant parameters
•Medicinal plant extracts against wild and multi-drug-resistant bacteria
the details of the Certificate Course of the Industrial Drug Development to be started from January, 2025 has been shared herewith:
Tenure for both the modules - 3 months [3-4 days a week; 4-5 hours per day]
Course detail:
1. Collection and preservation of medicinal plant samples (field collection may be included)
2. Extractions of plant parts using different industrial solvents through soxhlet extractor and vacuum evaporation
3. Fractionation by Chromatographic techniques (TLC, CC)
4. Antioxidant parameter analysis by UV- Vis Spectroscopy
5. OR Antimicrobial assay against wild and clinical MDR bacterial strains
6. Submission of project reports by candidates
7. Project presentation and assessment by external evaluators
8. Completion certificate distribution
